With their wether purchases from Gatwood Farms, Megan & Samantha showed their goats in county fairs, the Miss State Fair, and the 2007 Dixie Nationals. They took home 14 First Places, 3 Grand Champions, and 5 Reserve Grand Champions.

Congratulations to Corey Welch!
When Corey came for a visit to Gatwood Farms, I quickly realized he had a good eye for a winner. He picked "Gatwood Farms Rebel" for his new herd sire.
Out of 3 shows, Corey and Rebel have placed 1st twice, one 2nd, & a Jr. Reserve Champion.

Congratulations to Aaron!
Aaron Varnado's grand-dad purchased "Gatwood Farms Sunshine's Dream" for him to show and take care of. He won Over-all Gand Champion Doe at the LA State Junior Goat Show. Grand-dad Stilley is so proud of his grand-son. This past summer, Aaron worked to save to built a barn. With help from his mother and grand-father, his barn is going to be a reality.

We gave Erica Shafer this half-blood doe right off of her dam (that we use as a nurse nanny for our fullbloods) to bottle raise. With Erica's loving care, the goat went on to be the 2001 Mississippi State Fair Half-Blood Grand Champion. Congratulations Erica!

Our grandson, Jase never meets a stranger. He is loving, kind, helpful, respectful, and very out-going. Most do not know that Jase was born with a severe cleft palate and cleft lip. He has had many surgery's and more are yet to come. Through this he has always kept a smile on his face. He enjoys showing the goats and he has won showmanship 13 times.
